She was born on December 26, 1960 to her parents Charlie and Irene Wright, who preceded her in death.

Charlie Jr. (deceased), Shirley Reynolds, Sylvester Wright, Eddie Wright, Patricia Bruner, Benny Wright, Mark Wright, Ricky Wright, Debra Wright, and Tolesia Wright. Her children are Elliott Edwards and Christopher Wright. She has a number of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly. She was also an avid member of The Kingdom Hall Jahovah Witnesses
