Jackson, Randy J., 61, passed away July 21, at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born November 13, 1948 in Atlanta, Texas, the son of the late Willie Rainge and Willie R. Jackson. He graduated from Wichita State University and was a retired physical education teacher and coach at Robinson Middle School for 31 years. He is survived by his wife, Gayle (McGilbray); daughters, Amanda J. and Sesily A.; granddaughter, Bresha Collins; brothers, Waylon (Ella) and Franklin (Hannah), Atlanta, TX, Larry, Texarkana, TX, Dean (Cora), Allen, TX, John (Vanessa), Waco, TX; sisters, Gladene McClain and Perry Jefferson, Texarkana, TX and Polly (Naymond) Montgomery, Lone Star, TX. Randy was preceded in death by brothers, Billie Ray and Richard Jackson. A private funeral service will be followed by a public memorial service July 31, 11 a.m. at Wilner Auditorium Wichita State University and reception at James Rhatigan Center (CAC) WSU. The Randy J. Jackson Scholarship Fund has been established with Wichita State University.
