In Loving Memory of Rev. Zelma Lee Tomlinson

November 8, 1932 - July 27, 2024

Rev. Zelma Lee Moody -Tomlinson was born in Marlin, Texas, to her loving parents, Lavell and Ozella Moody. She passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles L. Tomlinson Sr., and her cherished daughter, Tammie Newhouse. Zelma is survived by her six devoted children: Kaeron (Tomlinson) Masters High, Charles Tomlinson Jr., Michael Tomlinson Sr., Roslyn Marzett, Annette Oliver, and Revis Tomlinson. She also leaves behind 26 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Zelma's life was a testament to her deep relationship with God and her boundless love for her family. Known for her joyful singing and constant smile, she was always ready to help and feed anyone in need, including the stray cats by her home. Her infectious personality made her beloved by all who knew her, and she had a unique gift for making everyone feel like part of her family.
