Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Willie Leon Kendrick, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Willie was born on May 4, 1950, in Lincoln County, Georgia, and left this world on June 7, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 74. Willie was preceded in death by his parents, William Kendrick and Camilla Kendrick, as well as his stepson Robert Sabater. He leaves behind a loving family including his wife Linda Kendrick, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brother Glenn Kendrick (Jean), sisters Emmalean Wilson (Jeff) and Vanessa Robinson (Brian), and a host of other loved ones who will cherish his memory forever.

A man of many talents, Willie was the President of Wil-Ken Enterprises, Inc and made significant contributions to his community and society. His dedication and hard work were evident in all aspects of his life, and he will be remembered for his exceptional leadership and entrepreneurial spirit.

Those who knew Willie will remember him for his kindness, generosity, and infectious smile. He had a special way of making everyone around him feel loved and valued, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A service to celebrate Willie's life will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Tabernacle Bible Church. We invite all who knew and loved Willie to join us in honoring his memory and sharing stories of the joy and laughter he brought into our lives.

As we mourn the loss of Willie Leon Kendrick, we take comfort in the wonderful memories he has left behind. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Rest in peace, Willie, you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
