Announce the peaceful passing of Lady Wanda Jean Blakemore - Beard on March 4, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas. Born to her loving parents in Trenton, Tennessee on October 16, 1950, she lived a full and accomplished life of 75 years.

Wanda was a remarkable woman who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She was a loving wife to Superintendent Louis Beard, a doting mother to her sons, Warrick and Jarius Beard, and a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents. Her legacy will live on in her husband, Louis, her sons, Warrick and Jarius, her nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of siblings, family, and friends who loved her dearly.

A celebration of Wanda's life will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Faith Mission Church. We invite all who knew and loved Wanda to join us in honoring her life and legacy.

Wanda, your boundless love, your infectious laughter, and your unwavering strength will be missed. The memories we've shared will forever be etched in our hearts.
