Venita Diggs, a beloved figure and cherished member of our community, passed away peacefully in her hometown of Wichita, Kansas, on December 26, 2025. She was born in the same city on February 19, 1958, to Martha Lee and Marshall C. Diggs.

Her professional life was marked by her role as a Material Coordinator at Beechcraft, a position she held until her well-earned retirement.

Preceded in death by her father, Marshall Diggs, Venita is survived by her mother, Martha Lee Diggs; family members Mirchelle Collins and Beatrice Grant; Brother-in-law Cemmon Grant and nephews Carthon Diggs, Rickey Collins Jr., and Antonio Lollis.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the opportunity to know this extraordinary woman.

The service to celebrate Venita's life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church.
