Timothy Dukes Sr., beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on April 18, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 54. He was born on April 15, 1970, in Boston, MA, to Emmitt and Elizabeth Simpkins, and joined in death by his father, mother, and brother, Curtis. Timothy leaves behind a legacy of love and family.

He is survived by his birth father, John O'Neil, birth mother, Rosemary Dukes, His Godparents Edward (Gee) and Vivian (Jean) Bell.  His 17 children, including Calisa, Darius (Glynda), Tijuan, Tilecia, Marcus, Wesley, Brianna, Timothy II, Tionna, Roshawn, John, Timothy, Nate, Karmascia, Lamacyo, Corda, Angela, and his 11 grandchildren who meant the world to him, were his pride and joy. Timothy is also survived by his siblings: Michal, Twanda, Cedric, Wateka, Lakesha, Sophia, Andrea, Marshall, Dominique, Brad, and Katrina, who will deeply miss his presence.

Timothy was a man of many interests and talents. His dedication to his family, his engaging personality, and his kindness endeared him to all who knew him. He cherished moments spent with loved ones and his commitment to creating unforgettable memories will be his enduring legacy.

A Homegoing Celebration honoring the life of Timothy Dukes Sr. will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Tabernacle Bible Church, where friends and family will gather to pay their respects and celebrate his life.

Timothy's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and light he shared with the world.
