Theresa Teshone Smith-Dewberry, passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 51, in Wichita, Kansas, her birthplace. She was born on June 29, 1972, to her parents Carnell Johnson and Dana Smith, who have preceded her in death. Theresa is survived by her devoted husband Curtis Dewberry and their three beloved children, Mark Burris Jr., Martresa, and Marquail Burris, 13 Grandchildren, Brothers and Sisters Redina Burris, Michael Burris Jr., Shamako Wilson, Diamoniel Loudermilk, Kilmonte & Seville Loudermilk, Sabrya Medlock, Shirley Johnson.
She was a dedicated Spriit Aerosystems Assembly Mechanic, known for her precision and skill in her work. Theresa's attention to detail and strong work ethic endeared her to her colleagues and made her an invaluable member of her community.
In addition to her professional achievements, Theresa was a cherished member of her community, always willing to lend a helping hand and contribute in any way she could. Her warm and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.
Theresa will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. She found joy in simple moments and treasured time spent with her loved ones above all else. Her infectious smile brightened the days of those around her, and her kindness knew no bounds.
A service to honor and celebrate Theresa's life will be held on June 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, where friends and family will gather to pay their respects and share fond memories of a remarkable woman.
