Thelma Scott, known affectionately as "Thelma" to her loved ones, peacefully passed away on May 14, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 88. She was born on March 23, 1937, in Vernon, Oklahoma, to her beloved parents Isaac Scott and Reather Halbert, who have preceded her in death. Thelma is survived by her cherished daughter Lisa Dean, along with 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence in their lives.

A funeral service to celebrate Thelma's life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Jackson Mortuary Chapel, followed by her burial at White Chapel Cemetery. In this time of sorrow, let us remember Thelma's legacy of love, joy, and compassion, and carry her memory in our hearts forever.
