Shirley Ann Terrell Martin was born to James and Gaynell Terrell on the 10th of March 1939 in Dover, Oklahoma. She was known as the prettiest baby born in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. She was the sixth child born to the family. She was a true daughter of Oklahoma growing up on the farm and being educated in Dover schools. After high school she moved to Wichita, Kansas where she lived and worked the rest of her life. She worked in the air conditioning and heating field most of her adult life.

After many years she found true love in her life partner, Wilburt Martin. They were married for 17 years until death parted them. Shirley was a loving and caring person always willing to help and give to people in need.

Shirley leaves us to join in rest her parents James and Gaynell, siblings Orlando, Donald, Delbert, David, Beatrice and Naomi.

We share tears and loving memories with Wilburt Martin, her husband. Rickey Martin her son by marriage along with his wife and three daughters. Her sisters Eloise Gray and Zelma Tasker along with a host of nieces, nephews, and a loving extended family.
