Sherlie Smith-Thomas, peacefully passed away at the age of 79 on January 31, 2025, in her hometown of Wichita, Kansas. She was born on March 28, 1945, to John Smith and Hester Conter.

Sherlie is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Henry Thomas, and her parents, John and Hester. She is survived by her children Henry, Craig, Krystal, Pamela, Carlotta, George, and Bridgett, along with a legacy of 48 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren. Sherlie is also survived by her brother Johnny and sisters Marie and Roberta Smith.

A service to honor and celebrate the life of Sherlie will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00AM at Jackson Mortuary Chapel. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share in the memories of a remarkable woman who touched so many lives.
