He was preceded in death by his father, stepfather, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and nephew. Ronald attended elementary and middle schools in North Kansas City, Missouri. In 1978 the family relocated to Wichita, Kansas where he attended Heights High School.  After returning home from the military he attended Butler County Community College where he earned an Associate of Science Degree.
Ronald was a man of many talents and interests. He pursued education diligently and was a lifelong learner. He enjoyed careers in government and banking industries. His dedication and hard work were evident to all who knew him except, when he wanted to debate.

Ronald had a passion for football. He played little league football in North Kansas City, Missouri. His dream was to attend the University of Notre Dame and be drafted by the Los Angeles Raiders. He enjoyed coaching little league football and refereeing for little league basketball.
