It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Roderick Vaugh Homes.  Roderick, 63 died on June 21, 2025, after a long illness.

Roderick was born on December 30, 1961, in Wichita, Kansas third child to Sandra L. Jasper and Clinton B. Holmes. Roderick was educated in Wichita, attended West High and Amtech institute.  He also served in the Army.

Roderick loved spending his time listening to music and enjoying hanging out with his family and friends.  Later in life he learned his way around a computer self-taught.  He loved trouble shooting.

He is survived by his wife Debra Holmes, daughter Latoya Williams (James) of Dallas and three grandchildren, stepdaughter Tracy Young of Wichita.  Sister Gwendolyn Holmes of Pasadena Ca., brothers Darryl Jackson and Michael Jackson both of Wichita Kansas.  Uncles, cousins and loads of nieces and nephews.

Roderick is proceeded in death by his parents Sandra Jasper and Clinton Holmes, brother Clayton B. Holmes, Grandmother Gwendolyn Hyatt, great-grandmother Malissa (mama Lisa) Lane.
