Ricky L. Johnson better known as "Slick Rick" was born April 27, 1954 in Boley, Oklahoma.  It is with sadness that we announce his passing on November 10, 2025 in Wichita, Kansas.

Ricky worked for the City of Wichita Water and Sewer Department as a foreman for many years.

He is survived by his mother Yvonne Johnson, his children: Rena, Carnetha, Diamond and Alexus Johnson.  His siblings: Jeanette Woods, Tina Thomas, Nina Woods, Dina Marve, Karla Marzett, Sherilyn Marzett-Conger, Catrice Marzett and Maranda Marzett-Roach and Reginald Knighton, 14 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

Ricky is preceded in death by his wife Susan, his father, his son, daughter, great-grand daughter and a brother.

A service will be held November 21, 2025 at 3:00pm at Jackson Mortuary for family and friends to come together to honor his life.
