Renette D. Williams-Johnson, "Mrs. J" known for her infectious smile and warm personality, passed away on March 26, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 76. Renette was born on February 14, 1948, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to her loving parents, James Williams and Marie Taylor. She is survived by Earnest Johnson, her children, Shiron and Toi Johnson, who were the lights of her life. Renette was a dedicated educator, having earned three master's degree and serving as a Business Teacher at USD 259. Her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds left a lasting impact on her students and colleagues. Renette's presence was always felt wherever she went, walking into a room and lighting it up with her beautiful smile.

In addition to her successful career, Renette was involved in her community and society, Proud Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority always eager to contribute and make a difference. Her kind heart and genuine spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of kindness and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Mark UMC to honor Renette's memory. A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma, where Renette's roots lay.

Renette D. Williams-Johnson will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her remarkable presence, generosity, and love for life will forever be cherished by her family and friends. May she rest in peace, knowing she made a positive impact on everyone she met. 💜
