Prentice Johnson, peacefully passed away at the age of 87 on March 21, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on November 13, 1937 in Wewoka,  Oklahoma, to his late parents Isiah Johnson and Eula Mitchell. Prentice is survived by his devoted wife, Tiny Jean Johnson, and his adoring children Sherita Seagram, Martha Johnson, Eula Johnson, and Princetta Carter, along with Bonus Son, Christon Rayford. He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who cherished his presence.

A service to honor and remember Prentice Johnson will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Tabernacle Bible Church, followed by his burial at White Chapel Cemetery.

May his spirit live on in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.
