Porter Lee Austin, beloved husband, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 89. He was born on February 14, 1935, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to the late Walter and Earlie Mae Austin. Porter is survived by host of Family who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. His kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Throughout his life, Porter made invaluable contributions to his community, always extending a helping hand to those in need. His generosity and compassion touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all those he encountered. Porter's legacy of kindness and selflessness will continue to inspire others for years to come.

Those who knew Porter will remember him for his integrity, resilience, and sense of humor. He had a way of brightening the room with his infectious laughter and positive outlook on life. His ability to find joy in the simplest of moments was truly a gift that he shared with everyone around him.

A service to celebrate Porter's life will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Jackson Mortuary, followed by his burial at Kechi Cemetery in Kechi, KS Friday June 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
