Pearl Mae
Wolaridge
June 18, 1942 – April 16, 2024
Pearl Wolaridge (Pearlie) was born in Braden, Oklahoma
on June 18, 1942 to Dan Wolaridge and Mordia (Billings)
Wolaridge. She received her education in Fort Smith,
Arkansas, and graduated from Lincoln High School. She
also attended vocational school and was certified as a
medical secretary. She was employed with USD 259 for
over 30 years and retired in 2006.
Pearl came to know God while attending church services
with her mother, especially those at Greater Pentecostal
Church of God in Christ under the pastorate of Elder C.J.
Taylor, Sr. Later on, she joined the Cathedral of the
Immaculate Conception where she faithfully attended
every Sunday until her health prevented her from doing so.
She enjoyed talking to family and friends on the phone,
shopping, and watching her favorite TV shows. Most of
all, she loved being around people, even if she didn't know
you. She was truly a kind, smart, and compassionate
person.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dan Wolaridge
and Mordia Wolaridge; her sister Marie Wolaridge, and
her brothers Jaycee Wolaridge and Danny Wolaridge.
Pearl leaves to cherish her memories: her nieces Kasota
M. Wolaridge (Tim), Tonya Rowe-Walker (Dale), and
Dollie Washington; her nephew Edward Smith (Theresa),
all of Wichita; and a host of other relatives and friend
