With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Marie Burton, a beloved daughter, sister and friend to many.  Patricia departed from this world at the age of 57 on August 25, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas, just two days shy of her 58th birthday.

Born on August 27, 1996, in Minot, North Dakota, Pat brought joy into the lives of her parents William and Evelyn as well as her brother Steve, who always wanted a baby sister.  Pat is preceded in death by her doting father William Henry Burton III and her eldest brother William Henry Burton IV. She is survived by her mother Evelyn Marie Burton, her supportive brothers Steve (Julia) and Kevin (Jeannette) Burton, and her loving companion James Collier.  After North Dakota, Pat lived in Wichita, Kansas, Yellow Springs, Ohio and various nursing homes in Xenia, Ashtabula, and Conneaut, Ohio. In September of 2017, the family moved her back to Wichita, where she took up residence at Medicalodges Nursing Home.  Pat had a fondness for anything related to music and cats and, of course, her arts and crafts which she proudly created and sometimes sold.  As we bid our final farewell to Pat, we hold onto the cherished moments and memories we shared with her and find solace in the knowledge that her soul and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Rest in peace precious Pat.  Your light will forever shine bright in our hearts.
