Milton R. "Milt" Gaines, age 81, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on July 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 8, 1943, in Lexington, Missouri, Parents Pauline & Milton Gaines, Sr.

Milton is survived by his devoted wife, Clester Gaines, his loving son Lamont Gaines, and his dear sister Liz Collins. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Milton served his country with honor as a United States Air Force Military Veteran and later worked as a VA Mail Personal Mail Processor, dedicating his time and skills to serving others. He made valuable contributions to his community and society through his service and commitment to excellence.

A viewing to celebrate Milt's life will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Jackson Mortuary Chapel from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor and remember a remarkable man who touched so many lives.
