" Grandma" and “Aunt Martha”

Martha L. Diggs, a dedicated woman of God, loving mother, esteemed grandmother, and great‑grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas.

Born in Checotah, Oklahoma, Martha was a devoted wife who shared 58 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband Marshall.

Martha was a vibrant soul who “never met a stranger.” To know her was to be treated like family. She brought that same warmth and dedication to her career, retiring from Textron‑Cessna after 36 years of faithful service. Her legacy of love, strength, and steadfast faith will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.

Martha is survived by her children, Mirchelle Collins and Beatrice Grant (Cemmon). She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren—Carthon Diggs, Ricky Collins, and Antonio Lollis—as well as three great‑grandchildren, and a loving host of extended family and friends. She is joyfully reunited with her late husband Marshall and beloved daughter Venita.
