His Early Years

Lorenzia A. Harding was born October 6, 1944 in Guthrie OK.  Born to Edker and Velma Steward. He matriculated through high school in Guthrie and graduated from North High in Wichita, KS.

After high school he attended WSU and became a Social Worker. In 1995 Lorenzia Harding opened H&H Cigarette Shop along with his brother Erving Harding. The career path he chose definitely suited him as he was an entrepreneur at heart.

His Family Life

Lorenzia married Shelley Harding in 1989 and remained married for 33 years. They had 1 child together, Ashmarr Harding. Lorenzia had 9 other children, 4 sons, Carlos Harding whom he has preceded in death, Keith Tate, Reggie Tate, Loranzo (Paige) Harding, and 5 daughters Verenda (Gail) Easterwood, Beverly Dean, Portia Harding, Latasha Harding, Tanika Harding, and a special niece Pamela Dempsy.

His Demise,

On February 4, 2022 in the morning, Lorenzia was called from labor to reward. He fought a good fight. Preceding him in death: His mother and father Edker and Velma Steward, Son, Carlos Harding, brother Erving Harding, and sister Phette Holloway. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Shelley Harding of Wichita KS, 2 sisters Elvira and Brenda Harding, 4 sons, 4 stepsons and 5 daughters, 1 stepdaughter, 23 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.
