Lillie Lucille Thomas-Witherspoon, born March 6, 1939, in Peno, Oklahoma, to her loving parents, passed peacefully on September 23, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 86.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Teresa D. (Jefferey) Jones; her twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, who were the lights of her life. Her legacy will continue to live on through them, and they will remember her with enduring love and gratitude. She is also survived by her sister, Lizzie Faye James.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Lucille's honor on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the New Testament Non-Denominational Church, Burial following at Old Mission Cemetery.

Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and remember a woman who was truly special and whose spirit was a gift to us all.
