Lavern Smith-Baker, passed away on March 21, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 78. She was born on December 31, 1946, in Oklahoma City to her loving parents Annie and John Smith, who have preceded her in death. Lavern leaves behind a host of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Her service has been set for Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive M.B.C with burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

She will be deeply missed but forever held in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to call her a part of their lives.
