Laura A. Witherspoon passed March 24, 2005 in Wichita, Kansas. Laura was born May 13, 1945 in Geary, Oklahoma to her proud parents Charlie Johnson and Elizabeth Hill-Johnson, which has preceded her in death.

Ms. Witherspoon is survived by her children: Marshella Johnson, Myra McDonald, Mark Johnson, Jr., Myrna Nelson, Marleda Witherspoon, Robert Witherspoon and Randall Witherspoon. Her sister Estella O'Field.  33 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Ms. Witherspoon's life will be held April 8, 2025 at 10:00Am at the Mount Olive Church of God In Christ and she will be laid to rest at the White Chapel Cemetery.
