LaTricia E. Ray Brown (Trish) was born in Newton, Kansas, to Mr. Nathaniel Ray
and Mrs. Evelyn Pettis Ray on May 12, 1952. Trish was a retired Educator and
worked for USD 259 of Wichita, Kansas, for over 30 years. She is preceded in
death by her parents. Trish left this earthly realm on December 10, 2024, at her
home in Wichita, Kansas. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Val J. Brown Jr.; her
children, LaTrice Brown and Val J. Brown III (Jessica); and her grandchildren,
Grant and Quinn Brown, who were the joys of her heart.

She is also deeply loved by her siblings: LaSheila (Ray) Berry, Ivan Ray Sr, Mae
Vertis (Ray) Lewis, Ellen Ray, and a host of other family members and loved ones
who also cherish her memory.

The funeral will be held at St. Mark United
Methodist Church (1525 N. Lorraine Ave., Wichita, Kansas) on Saturday,
December 28, 2024, at 11:00 am
