Lashea Capri
Bell
May 5, 1983 – August 30, 2025
LaShea Capri Bell was born on May 5, 1983, in Wichita, Kansas, to Donna and Larry Bell. She
attended Isley Elementary, Brooks Magnet Middle School, and Southeast High School. She went
on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications from Wichita State
University.
LaShea possessed a joyful spirit and a generous heart. She was known for her helpful, caring
nature and was always willing to lend a loving hand to family and friends. Her kindness,
however, was never to be mistaken for weakness—LaShea stood firmly in her beliefs and
fiercely defended her convictions, her loved ones, and what she knew to be right. Her infectious
smile always brightened any room and lifted any circumstance.
Professionally, LaShea enjoyed a thriving career with Cargill. She joined the company in 2019 as
an Associate Marketing Manager and rose to her most recent role as a Senior Specialist on the
Sales Enablement Team, supporting Cargill's McDonald's Business Unit. LaShea coupled a
passion for marketing and a drive to help others to make an ever-increasing impact on her
coworkers and customers.
LaShea was initiated into the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and
continued her commitment as a proud member of the Beta Kappa Omega Chapter. Giving back
was extremely important to LaShea. She served as Chair of Cargill's Ebony Council in Wichita
and gave back to her community through her board service with The Kansas African American
Museum (TKAAM) and Heroes Academy.
On August 30, 2025, our Lord called LaShea home. She was preceded in death by her
grandparents: Jewel and LeRoy Bell, and Alma and Edward Smalls. She leaves to cherish her
memory her loving parents, Donna and Larry Bell; her sister, LaSharn Bell-Beaubrun (Kenel); her
nephew, Mekhi Beaubrun; and a host of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
