Laiketa Renee English was born on May 27, 1955, the eldest daughter of Frank English Sr. and Sletha Mae (Timmons) English.  Laiketa graduated from Wichita High School Heights in 1973. Laiketa also attended Wichita State University, for a short time.
Laiketa retired from Textron Aviation/Beechcraft in October 2020, after 43 years of dedicated service. Throughout her career, Laiketa earned several recognition awards, for her hard work, as well as for her stellar attendance and performance.

Laiketa leaves to cherish her memory: her only child, Alishea English-Harris (Wichita, KS); grandchildren Brooklyn Jace English-Deal and London Chace English, both of Wichita, KS; brothers Michael W. English (Texas) and Carlos English (Tulsa, OK);  Frank English Jr. (Wichita); sisters Kim R. Carson (Mansfield, TX), and Denise English (Wichita, KS); 5 nieces, 4 nephews, and 9 great-nieces and great-nephews.
