Obituary

Keyshaun "Key" Jones, age 17, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on June 7, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished by those whose lives he touched.Born on October 31, 2006, in Wichita, Kansas, Keyshaun brought joy and laughter to his family from the moment he arrived. His parents, Deontre Ganaway and Amber Anderson, and his grandfather, Harold Jones, now mourn his loss alongside his siblings, Delores, Keiante, Dimontrey, Zachariah, and Dearius Ganaway. A host of extended family members and friends also grieve his departure.

As a high school student, Keyshaun endeared himself to many with his warm smile and kind heart. His work as a cashier at Wendy's Restaurant showcased his work ethic and dedication to serving others. Beyond his professional endeavors, Keyshaun was known for his love of basketball, video games, and spending time with his loved ones.

Keyshaun's genuine nature and caring spirit set him apart, making him a cherished friend and family member to all who knew him. His presence brightened every room, and his absence will be deeply felt by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A service to honor and remember Keyshaun's life will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local charity in Keyshaun's memory.

While Keyshaun is no longer with us in body, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be truly missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who remember him fondly.

Rest in peace, Keyshaun. Your light will forever shine bright in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.
