Katie Mae Williams, at the age of 86, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026. Born on

February 23, 1940 to Simon and Viola Williams in Hollandale, Mississippi, she was the fourth of

seven children. Katie devoted her life to her family and her faith. She was an active member of

her church and enjoyed spending time with family. She was a beloved mother and sacrificed a

lot for the people she loved. She will always be remembered by her feisty attitude and

comebacks. She will be truly missed by her five children, sister, brother and a host of nieces,

nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and all who knew her.
