Kathy Lynn Fisher-McClish, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, has peacefully passed away at the age of 69 on July 11, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas, the place where she was also born on July 6, 1955, to her loving parents M.D. Fisher Sr. & Mira Jefferson. Kathy was a cherished member of her community and her passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all those who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her devoted husband Maurice McClish, her children Keith, Kevin, Kyree, Shaurice McClish-Asher, and Ros'a McClish, her 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Michael Franklin, M.D. Fisher, Mary James, Theordis Fisher, Ruby Fisher, Lorraine Bush, Sharon Franklin, and Stanley Franklin.
Throughout her life, Kathy was known for her dedication to her family and her unwavering support for her loved ones. She was a pillar of strength and a source of comfort for all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact that will never be forgotten.
Kathy's service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Mark Cathedral COGIC, with burial at Old Mission Cemetery following the funeral service. The ceremony will be a celebration of Kathy's life and the love she shared with those around her.
In honor of Kathy, her family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They find solace in knowing that she is now at peace and that her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
