It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John L. Tyler, Sr., at the age of 89, on April 19, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas. John was born on October 7, 1935, in Clifton Forge, VA, to his late parents John Tyler Sr. and Nettie Johnson. John is survived by his beloved wife, Rose J. Tyler. Together, they shared many precious moments and built a life filled with love and cherished memories.

A retired United States Air Force Military Veteran, John dedicated his life to serving his country with honor and bravery. His commitment to duty and selfless sacrifice made a lasting impact on his community and society.

John was known for his kind heart, unwavering loyalty, and steadfast determination. His warm smile and genuine compassion touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of crossing his path.

In honoring John's life and legacy, a burial service will be held at the Winfield Veteran Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas. The date and time of the service will be announced at a later time.
