Gamble
February 5, 1961 – May 22, 2025
John Allen Gamble was born to Annie Ruth Williams and Wesley Gamble Sr. on February 5, 1961. He spent his childhood in Wichita, Kansas, and as a teenager made the decision to move to Tulsa, Oklahoma, with his father, where he graduated from McLain High School in 1980. John furthered his education at Rhema Bible College, earning a degree in Theology in 2002.
On November 14, 1981, he married Beverly Thompson, and together they welcomed two children, LaTia Marie and John Wesley. John held a Commercial Driver's License and dedicated over 35 years to the trucking industry, including more than 20 years at Zipp Delivery in Tulsa and S&S Express in Wichita.
He served alongside his father at Bibleway Church of God in Christ until the passing of Pastor Wesley. In 1998, John and Beverly founded Lighthouse Outreach Ministries and remained committed to its mission until 2009. Afterward, he joined Pastor Stanley Coleman at Praise Christian Faith Center, before eventually relocating back to Wichita, Kansas.
John was deeply committed to serving both God and others, embodying a sincere love for God's people.
