Joann Lachelle Presley, a cherished daughter, a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and a caring sister, departed from this life on July 27, 2025, in her hometown of Wichita, Kansas. Born on September 9, 1974, to her beloved mother Dororthy McCoy and her late father Joseph Presley.

Joann's journey on earth was marked by her dedication to others. Her professional life as a Certificated Nurse Aide (CNA) was a testament to her selflessness and compassion.

She leaves behind her loving mother Dororthy McCoy, her children Joseph & De Arius Presley, Cytavia Presley-Lane, and 6 adoring grandchildren. Her memory will also be cherished by her siblings Michelle Brown, Antonio Presley, Sa-Meli Roberts, Alica Roberts, and a host of extended family and friends.

Joann was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Presley, whose love and guidance shaped the woman she became. His memory was a source of strength and comfort to Joann throughout her life, and his legacy of love will continue to guide her family in the years to come.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jackson Mortuary Chapel. The funeral service will take place on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Mizpah Baptist Church, followed by the burial at White Chapel Cemetery.
