Jannie L. Holloway, peacefully passed away on June 30, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 86. She was born on February 12, 1938, in Grady County, Cairo, Georgia, to Joe C. and Marietta Gibson, who have preceded her in death.

Jannie is survived by her beloved children, Sandi Holloway and Rondell Holloway, and her caring sister, Jean G. Smith. She was a dedicated mother and sister who cherished her family dearly.

Jannie had a fulfilling career as a Custodian with the Wichita Public School USD259 for many years before retiring. She was known for her strong work ethic and unwavering dedication to her job. In her free time, Jannie enjoyed gardening, baking delicious pies for her family, and spending quality time with her loved ones.

She will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, and the warm smile she always greeted everyone with. Jannie had a special way of making those around her feel loved and cared for, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A memorial service to celebrate Jannie's life will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2024, at St. Mark United Methodist Church.

Jannie Holloway touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love and light she shared with the world.
