Israel Dean Alford, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on June 1, 1948, in Clearview, Oklahoma, to the late Vernon Alford and Ida Schaffer. Israel is survived by his loving wife Norma Alford, children La Vonda Alford, Kitsa Smiles, Theresa Smiles, Carl (Tina) Morrison, Alton Waite, and Donte (Teresa) Smiles. He also leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, sister Beverly Alford-Allen.

A service to celebrate Dean's life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, followed by burial at Maple Grove Cemetery.
