Irving Davis Tanner, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 86. He was born on August 14, 1938, in Washington, D.C., to the late Joseph Tanner and Erma Davis.

Retired 22 years United States Air Force Military Veteran Master Sergeant,

23 years as a United States Postal Serice mail handler, he dedicated his career to serving his country and community.

He is survived by his loving children Beverly (Jeff) Demerath, Evelyn Tanner, Erica (Jeff) Davis, as well as 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy to his life. He is also survived by Cousins Joyce Davis Edwards (Michael) Carol Davis Brooks Glenn Anthony Davis (Phyllis) Ann Davis Anderson (Ronald) is deceased.

A Graveside Service will be held at White Chapel Cemetery on Friday, December 6, 2024, to honor and celebrate Irving's life. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the lessons he imparted to those around him.
