It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Irma Jean Hickles, who departed this life at the remarkable age of 92 on Wednesday March 4, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas.

Irma was born in the close-knit community of Gibson Station, Oklahoma, where she began her journey as the beloved daughter of the late Huetta and Earl Joy Roberson. She carried the warmth and values instilled by her parents throughout her long and meaningful life.

A devoted mother sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Irma's gentle spirit and unwavering love created a lasting legacy for her family. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her five loving children, (Clay R. Hickles Jr., Keith B Hickles , Ellen L. Hickles, Denise F. Hickles and Sharon E. Hickles ) who were the pride and joy of her life. Her spirit will also be deeply missed by her sister and brother grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense happiness to her later years.

Irma will be remembered for her grace, resilience, and the quiet strength she demonstrated every day. Her life was a testament to love, family, and the enduring power of a kind heart.
