Mr. Glorde Hunt Jr., peacefully passed away on October 5, 2024, in his hometown of Wichita, KS at the age of 75. He was born on March 24, 1949, to the late Glorde Hunt Sr. and Mary Louise Grimmett. Glorde was a dedicated family man who was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bobbie Johnson,

He is survived by his cherished children Robert, Angel, Joshua, and Tonesha, along with a legacy of 33 grandchildren. Glorde is also survived by his sister Gloria Flanigan and his brothers Donald and Larry Hunt.

Glorde's funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Mt. Olive COGIC, followed by his burial at Wichita Park Cemetery. As we honor his memory and celebrate his life, let us remember the joy, laughter, and love he brought into the world.
