It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Kenneth Lattimore, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. George, passed away on August 5, 2024, in his hometown of Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 61. Born on October 1, 1962, to George Mack Lattimore and Martha Ruth Chapman, George grew up surrounded by love and close-knit family bonds. He was preceded in death by his parents, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms in heaven.
George leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication through his three children, Kenyal, Jasmin, and Jordan Lattimore, as well as his five precious grandchildren.
In addition to his immediate family, George is survived by his sisters, Deborah "Debbie" Walker, Tammaye Lattimore, and Donna Lattimore-Boatner. Together, they shared countless memories and cherished moments that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
A service to honor and celebrate George's life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Mt. Olive COGIC. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share stories, and pay their respects to a remarkable man who touched the lives of so many.
In this time of grief, may we find solace in the memories we shared with George and the impact he had on our lives. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all.
Rest in peace, dear George. You will be forever cherished and remembered.
