Obituary

Fred Lee Brown Jr. passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on February 23, 2024. He was born on October 5, 1938, in the small town of Oktaha, Oklahoma, to his parents Fred Lee Brown Sr. and Oda Mae Winn, both of whom have preceded him in death.

Fred is survived by his devoted wife Janice N. Brown.

daughters, Janice E. Brown and Deborah K. Brown, along with 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren who were the light of his life.

He is also survived by his beloved brother, Wayne Brown, with whom he shared a special bond from childhood.

After graduating from high school, Fred pursued a career at Boeing where he worked tirelessly as a Stress Press Operator until his well-deserved retirement. His dedication to his work was evident in his commitment to excellence and reliability.

In his free time, Fred enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he adored beyond words. He had a passion for woodworking and spent many hours in his workshop crafting beautiful pieces that will be cherished for generations to come.

Fred will always be remembered for his kind and gentle soul, his unwavering love for his family, and his infectious laughter that could light up a room. His personal traits of patience, kindness, and selflessness were truly special and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

A service to honor and celebrate Fred's life will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Jackson Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Fred's memory.

Fred Lee Brown Jr. will be deeply missed but his legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing he was truly loved and cherished by all.
