Ester Lynn Johnson - Clark, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 25, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 84. She was born on January 21, 1940, in Longview, Texas, to Prince A. Johnson and Georgette Underwood. Ester was preceded in death by her loving husband, Melvin Douglas Clark, her parents, Prince A. Johnson and Georgette Underwood. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by her surviving family members: Georgette Atkinson, Marcus Clark, Jacquelyn Anderson, Alice Clark, Jocelyn Bell, Sister Patricia Rimes, Marie Williams, Clarence Johnson, Lucille Webb, 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Ester dedicated her life to her family and her work. She was a retired Sheplers Seamstress, known for her meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ester found joy in creating beautiful garments and was admired for her skill and dedication to her craft.

Known for her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit, Ester touched the lives of all who knew her. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her selflessness, and her ability to make everyone around her feel loved and cared for.

A service to honor and celebrate Ester's life will be held with a burial at Rosehill Gardens Cemetery in Marshall, Texas. The memory of Ester Lynn Johnson - Clark will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to have her in their lives.
