Born on November 19, 1946, in Daingerfield, Texas, Ellen lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and laughter. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will be cherished forever.

Ellen was a woman of remarkable compassion and dedication. After graduating with a nursing degree, she devoted her life to caring for others. Her gentle demeanor and caring nature made her a cherished nurse, beloved by patients and colleagues alike. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome, a trait that extended beyond her professional life.

In addition to her role as a devoted wife and mother, Ellen was an accomplished writer. She authored numerous inspirational books, touching the hearts of many with her words of wisdom and encouragement. Her writing was a reflection of her own life—one filled with resilience, hope, and an unwavering belief in the goodness of people.

Ellen was the cherished wife of the late George Barrier Sr., with whom she shared a profound and enduring love. Together, they built a family filled with warmth and joy, raising four devoted sons: George Barrier Jr., Keith Barrier, Marlon Barrier, and Jermaine Barrier. Her family was the heart of her existence, and she instilled in them the same love and laughter that she shared with George.
