"Well, done, my good and faithful servant" _ Matthew 25:23

Dorothy Fay Rogers, affectionately known as "Faye," passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family and loved ones, on January 11, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas. She was the beloved daughter of Mary Williams and Hank Burkes, born on August 5, 1964, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, and was the youngest of four siblings. She was a devoted wife of 39 years to the love of her life, Patrick Rogers and a proud mother of her beautiful children: Bradley Garner, Donte Rogers, and Kiauna Spires. stepchildren: Dakia Rogers, Patrick Rogers II, Porsche Williams, and Brooke Smith. She was also, a loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren — all of whom she loved dearly. She attended Wichita Public Schools and graduated from North High School. She worked faithfully at Spirit, until her health made it necessary for her to focus on healing. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, attending Greater New Testament Baptist Church. But, even at a young age, her light was evident, as she carried herself with strength, grace and an unwavering belief that God had a purpose for her life. She would go on to become founder of Women of The Gathering, a ministry that touched countless lives, especially women facing addiction, brokenness, or loss. She later became Ordained as a Prophet and became a faithful and devoted member of Team Ascension. She had a heart for her people, always reminding them that God's grace is greater than their past. She would often describe herself as a "Bloodline Breaker" with "Stubborn Faith"—a woman who stood firm on God's promises and refused to let anything shake her belief, which allowed her to step further into her calling by becoming the Pastor of Kingdom Life Community Church. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing that Pastor Faye has entered her eternal rest — safe in the arms of the Lord, she so faithfully served. The impact of Pastor Faye will live on forever and her legacy of love, strength and steadfast faith will continue to shine through in the hearts she touched, the lives she changed and the souls she led to Christ.

A Celebration of her life will be held on January 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Greater New Testament
Missionary Baptist Church, followed by a burial at Maple Grove Cemetery.
