In Loving memory of Donald Gene Riggs, born January 24, 1942, who passed away peacefully September 10, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas.

Donald was raised in Wichita, Kansas, earning his degree in engineering from Wichita State University. Donald's career took him to Texas, Michigan, and California where he finally retired as an electrical engineer at Point Magu. Upon retirement, Donald returned home to Wichita to care for his elderly mother.  Donald enjoyed a lifetime of sports, scuba diving, camping, hunting, fishing and snowshoeing.

Donald leaves behind a son, Phillip (wife, Victoria), grandson, Brandon, grandson, Brian, granddaughter, Sasha (husband, Michael), a nephew, Justin (wife, Sara), and niece, Abbey Lee and her four daughters.

Donald is preceded in death by his father, Donald Verne, his mother, Ella Jean, brother, Darryl, and granddaughter, Virginia Carly.

Donald was well known for his wit, humor and kindness and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
