In 1968, Donal moved to California and married his beautiful wife, Shirley Spicer, with whom he shared many joyful years until her passing in 2013. He loved spending time with family and friends.

Donal built his career with dedication, working at Mayflower Trucking, Bethlehem Steel, and later retiring from Levitz Home Furniture. An avid outdoorsman, Donal loved sport fishing and hunting with his dog, Goldie. In retirement, he continued to enjoy sport fishing and bowling.
