David C. Cooksey III, age 70, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025. Born in Wichita on February 3, 1955, to the late David C. Cooksey Jr. and Dorothea J. Parks, David was a lifelong resident of his beloved hometown.

David is preceded in death by his parents, David C. Cooksey Jr. and Dorothea J. Parks, along with his sister Nancy. He is survived by his child, David Cooksey; his brother, Charles Cooksey; and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his loss.
