Cordia Lynne Dunigan - Washington, affectionately known as Cordia, was born on May 18, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri. She peacefully passed away on May 5, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 63. Cordia was preceded in death by her loving parents, Thomas E. Dunigan and Ruby Moore.

Cordia leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, survived by her devoted husband James F. Washington Jr. and her sisters Juanita Dunigan, Ruby Turner, and Marie Young. She was a dedicated wife and a caring sister whose presence will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

A Funeral Service to honor Cordia's life will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, followed by her burial at Maple Grove Cemetery.

Rest in peace, dear Cordia, knowing that you were cherished and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing you. Your spirit will live on in our hearts, and we will carry your light with us always. We will truly miss you, Cordia.
