Clarence Edward Davis Sr., a devoted family man, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, in Plano, Texas. Born on May 20, 1955, in Marks, Mississippi, Clarence lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and love for those close to him.
Clarence devoted much of his career to McKinney Buick GMC, where he built a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and commitment. His retirement from McKinney Buick GMC marked the closing of a notable chapter in his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Althea Davis, whose partnership and companionship brought him endless joy and support. Together, they raised a wonderful family: Clarence Davis Jr., Tammy Davis, Vonetta Landrum, and Sean Davis. His pride in his children was evident to all who knew him. Clarence was also a doting grandfather to ten grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his siblings, Eddie Dancy, Anne Medley, Bettie Williams, Millie Sain-Taylor, and Frank Anderson.
He is remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for the warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support he offered his family and friends.
