Charlotte Washington
September 19, 1943 – September 12, 2025

Charlotte Washington, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September
12, 2025, at the age of 81. She was born on September 19, 1943, in Kansas City,
Missouri, to loving and devoted parents.

Charlotte dedicated many years of service to AT&T where she retired as a Formator.
She is survived by her daughter, Johanna Ramzah (Hassan), her son, Jonathan
Washington; her son-in-law, Allen Lee; her sister-in-law Sonya Williams; her siblings,
Gale Phipps, Gloria McDonald, George Williams Jr., Ginger Williams, and Glecia
Williams; her grandchildren, Ryan Washington, Tanisha Lee, Ciara Ramzah, Rashaam
Lee, and Jasmine Ramzah; three great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family
members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John L. Washington, her daughter,
Stephanie Lee; and her stepson, John Dale Washington.

Charlotte will be remembered for her devotion to family, her many years of hard work,
and the love and kindness she shared with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed
and forever cherished.
